This website provides information about Christian Science activities in Birmingham, UK. You can read more about Christian Science on the ‘What is Christian Science?’ page on the site, but just briefly; Christian Science is a Christian denomination that was established in the late 19th Century in Boston, US. A key focus of Christian Science is the spiritual nature of existence, and the implications this has for the potential of prayer to enrich and improve our lives in a variety of ways – such as through healing emotional, mental, and physical problems, giving greater inner peace, happiness and a richer sense of personal identity and life purpose. We at the church are passionate about reaching out to the people of Birmingham to help them learn of the benefits that Christian Science can bring.

The main base for our activities is our Church and Reading Room on Bridge Street; about 2 minutes walk from Centenary Square in the centre of the city. The formal name of the church is Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Birmingham. The Church and Reading Room are located in a two-story office unit.
